Erik Flores is a Texas singer-songwriter whose stories and music shed a little light on the things we all seem to face from time to time. Erik started his career in Austin, Texas and after a handful of loud and eclectic years, he eventually found himself in Los Angeles where he reconnected with his love of Americana/Country music.
After starting the band Fairbanks & the Lonesome Light, gaining some notoriety and releasing two albums, he returned home to Texas and landed in the small Hill Country town of Driftwood where he continues to write and record. Erik’s solo performances pull from an ever-growing collection of new songs, but lean a little harder into his classic Texas influences.
Mary-Charlotte Young is the Texas-based singer songwriter you didn’t know you were missing.
In keeping with folk tradition, Young tells stories through song. Stories of struggle, love, & a darker element of the human experience: murder. Imaginative lyrics, percussive guitar playing, and hard-hitting vocal melodies define her style both live and in studio. Her voice can cut straight to the bone or lull you into dreams.
Mary-Charlotte draws inspiration from across the American musical landscape. Her influences range from Townes and Lucinda to Otis Redding and Jeff Mangum. Though typically a solo acoustic performer, Young’s studio albums are chock full of Texas musicians lending their talents to her vision.
Join us for live music with Mike Pierce. Mike is a local preacher and singer with similar classic country musical stylings to Willie and Merle. He plays a good mix of covers and originals. He’s got a good soul and is easy to listen to.
