DESCRIPTION:The Hawk Walk is an exciting interactive event that brings nature to you up close and personal.  Meet with a falconer in a class of no more than 15 individuals and learn about human’s ancient relationship with raptors through falconry.  Learn about the history of the art/sport\, the equipment used and actually fly a hawk from tree to glove\, or between participants gloves.   Enjoy the thrill of a bird of prey interacting with a trusted human companion. \nDepending on the size of the group\, you will have at least three opportunities to call the bird to your glove and have one of your trusted human companions photograph your interaction.  We limit our groups to 15 individuals per walk to maximize the available interaction. \nParticipants must be at least 10 years of age. Anyone under the age of 18 MUST have parental consent and parent/guardian must be present.
